SecOBig - Security-Preserving Operations on Big Data
DFG Priority Program 1736

Funding: DFG, 06/2014-11/2017

Background: The project is part of the DFG priority program 1736 – Algorithms for Big Data. The priority program deals with new algorithms and data structures for Big Data scenarios.

Content: The term “Big Data” refers to data sets and analyses on these sets where the size of the data exceeds commonly available software and hardware abilities. The goal of this research project is to design cryptographic solutions which enable secure operations on large data sets for scenarios like cloud computing.

Project partners: Alexander May (Ruhr-Uni Bochum).

Funded members: Arno Mittelbach.
