Background: COST stands for European Cooperation in Science and Technology. COST funds pan-European, bottom-up networks of scientists and researchers across all science and technology fields. These networks, called “COST Actions”, promote international coordination of nationally-funded research.
Content: The aim of COST Action 1306 is to stimulate interaction between the different national efforts in order to develop new cryptographic solutions and to evaluate the security of deployed algorithms with applications to the secure digital interactions between citizens, companies and governments.
